Dowsil™ 791 is a one-part neutral silicone for weather sealing. It is used for both commercial and domestic applications, and provides excellent adhesion to most exterior substrates. It has excellent weathering characteristics, including resistance to ozone, UV radiation and temperature extremes.

It has a 20 minutes skin over time and it is tack-free in 45 minutes.

Conforms to ISO 11600-25LM and also meets ISO specification 9047 class 50.

From 1 May 2026 this product is now aligned with the updated classification under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/2564 .Following the updated classification, the products are intended for professional / trade use only, rather than for sale to DIY or general consumer users. Retailers must ensure reasonable steps must be taken to ensure that onward sale is appropriately controlled and consistent with the intended professional use.
